Nightingale teams up with Juventas New Music Ensemble, Composer Greg Brown, visual artist Brian Cohen, and poet Todd Hearon for the premier of Strange Land, an immersive multimedia experience based on the Book of Revelation seen through modern eyes confronting the collisions of ages-old spiritual questions with our modern technological world. The music sets modern and ancient Psalms for choir, tenor soloist, and chamber ensemble augmented with electronic sounds. This concert event is accompanied by images etched into huge copper plates, printed in the traditional manner, enlarged to and projected in minute detail on the screen in The Goel Center for Theater and Dance.
